Terms and Conditions of Participation & Liability
Dachstein Run
The participant hereby expressly declares that, by participating in the “Dachsteinlauf,” he or she will comply with the FIS rules without exception. The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants who behave inappropriately in any way from the event; in such cases, the participant shall have no claim of any kind against the organizer.
It is prohibited to litter along the cross-country ski trail.
By participating, the participant fully accepts all of the organizer’s terms and conditions of participation. Participation is at the participant’s own risk and responsibility!
The participant declares that he or she has trained sufficiently, is physically healthy, and has undergone a medical examination. Each participant must ensure that he or she has liability and accident insurance.
Each participant bears civil and criminal liability for any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss caused by him or her and undertakes to indemnify and hold harmless the organizer and its agents entrusted with the event’s execution from any civil or criminal liability in this regard. The organizer and the bodies entrusted with the event’s execution disclaim all liability for accidents of any kind and for any resulting claims, whether from participants or third parties. The organizer is not liable for damage or lost items.
The organizer is not responsible for ensuring that the selected route is available without restriction for the entire duration of the event. In the event of cancellation, interruption, changes, or shortening of the route, no claim may be made against the organizer.
In the event of non-participation, there is no entitlement to a refund of the entry fee or to carry over the starting spot to the following year. However, a name change is possible as long as online registration is open.

- their personal and address information may be stored and processed electronically, as well as published.
- the organizer—or partners commissioned by the organizer—may conduct interviews and take photos, video, and TV recordings, and that these may be used without restriction and for an indefinite period of time.
- the organizer may use the address information for promotional purposes and may also share it with sponsors.

- their name, year of birth, and place of residence are accurate.
The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the terms and conditions of participation. All official changes and announcements will be published on the websitewww.dachsteinlauf.at.
The most recently published terms and conditions are ultimately valid and binding.
