From 12 to 14 January 2024 you can expect sporting action and also a new course with 42 km on the perfectly groomed trails over the entire Ramsau plateau: "The full enjoyment in one run". For beginners in the competition there is also a shorter round with 10 km length.
Under the former Tour de Ramsau, the cross-country event will now be held this winter under the name "Dachstein run". With the Dachsteinlauf, the basic idea of the people's cross-country skiing in Ramsau am Dachstein will be revived and all sports enthusiasts will be encouraged to become part of this cross-country skiing event.
Due to the wide-ranging supporting program with children's race and culinary enjoyment run as well as the various competitions, there is something for many cross-country skiers - whether professional, hobby athlete or nature lover: everyone who wants to participate will find the right route!
The Euroloppet Euopameisterschaft also provides the appropriate international sporting challenge.

In 2024 there will again be an App Run in the Schladming-Dachstein Adventure Region. Like last year, two virtual challenges will be offered this year.
More than 500 participants at the big cross-country skiing event under the backdrop of the Dachstein mountain
This success surprised even the organizers: although the "Tour de Ramsau" had to be postponed from January to the weekend of 11.03.2023 to 12.03.2023 due to weather conditions, the major event attracted more than 500 participants from all over the world to the Styrian region of Schladming-Dachstein.
In the best conditions, the ambitious cross-country skiers of all classes and ages fought for the top places in the numerous individual distances. The overall victory of the "Grand Tour de Ramsau", consisting of 30 kilometers classic and 40 kilometers skating, was won by the two Germans Juliane Frühwirt and Jakob Lauerer.
Over two days, the Ramsau World Cup stadium was once again transformed into the Mecca of the international cross-country skiing scene. Perfectly groomed trails and great snow conditions on the high plateau above the Styrian Enns Valley provided optimal conditions for the multi-day race for amateur athletes, which is unique in Austria. Runners from Europe and overseas were represented in the field of participants, even highly motivated athletes traveled from Australia and the USA this year.
