The tour

The Stoderzinken offers the perfect opportunity for ski touring beginners and at the same time offers a summit experience. Two prepared ascent tracks – from the Stoderhütte towards the summit and from the Brünnerhütte to the Lärchberg – offer great conditions for beginners.

Turn-by-turn directions

From the Roßfeld car park, take the connection to summer trail 675 and follow it up to the Stoderhütte. From there, head east and follow the prepared ascent track on the former west ski run towards the Stoder summit. At the end of the former ski run, continue through terrain interspersed with mountain pines until you reach the ridge of the Stoderzinken and finally the summit.

From there, first return along the same route to the start of the former ski runs. Now descend north to the Brünnerhütte and from there follow the prepared ascent track to the Lärchberg and back to the Stoderhütte. Finally, descend via the Roßfeld back to the car park.

Getting there

In Gröbming, exit the B320 Ennstal federal highway and follow the signs towards Stoderzinken. From Gröbming Winkl, take the Alpenstraße Stoderzinken toll road to the Roßfeld car park.
